Chris Nicholls

Health & Safety and Workforce Development Director

Chris has over 30 years experience in the entertainment industry and has worked as Stage, Company, Production and Technical Manager throughout his career. He was Chief LX and Technical Manager at the Churchill Theatre, Bromley for 13 years and was lighting designer for over 50 productions. He has also toured with various productions – theatre, dance and concerts before joining WL in 2007. Chris has been Operations Director since 2011. He is responsible for over 100 warehouse staff working in the Technical Workshops, Event Stores, Operations, and Logistics. Chris has always been interested with teaching and developing people and is happy to lead WL’s apprenticeship scheme.
