In December 2021, WL joined the d&b Group as part of the newly-formed d&b solutions business, alongside the SFL Group, which has been our strategic partner since 2020. d&b solutions offers end-to-end expertise in project development, manufacturing, system planning, installation and maintenance. This means that we are now able to provide our venues and customers with the very latest technology, the highest level of expertise and a range of unparalleled services. WL’s fifty-year history, combined with the forty years of d&b and the thirty years of SFL, gives us access to a vast resource of experience, expertise, equipment, ideas and people. As such, we are uniquely placed to serve today’s live entertainment and events industry.
As you may know, another big change is that after 30+ years of service, Richard Wilson left the business to explore new opportunities. Please rest assured that WL will still continue to operate independently and that a dedicated and growing Venues team remains in place. The only gradual change you may see will be the development of our offering within production and venues, as we also draw on SFL’s expertise as an audio, AV and scenic supplier.
