Expert Insights: Featured Product Highlights

Antony Vine | Area Four Industries – I’m looking forward to reconnecting with the team at Area Four Industries, whose support continues to be instrumental across a variety of projects. I’m particularly interested in exploring their EXE Flexa Load Cells—an excellent example of how digital innovation is increasingly intersecting with mechanical engineering in our field. You can find them on Stand R-D18, R-D19.

Elizabeth Rumsey | City Theatrical’s DMXCat and the new DMXCat-E have become essential tools in every lighting technician’s toolkit. I’m looking forward to catching up with Matt Stearnes to explore the advanced features of the DMXCat-E in more depth.

Paul Botham | ETC – From Schools & Colleges, to Houselights applications, the ColorSource PAR Jr offers impressive versatility and value. I’m looking forward to exploring their different applications with Joe and the team from ETC. You can find them on Stand N-C06.

Stuart Porter | Martin Professional – We already hold them in our rental fleet, however the Mac Viper XIP, combined with Macula Followspot System, offers designers even more creative opportunities and discussing the possibilities with both designers and representatives from the manufacturers is such an important part of why I attend tradeshows.

Jonathan Haynes | ETC – The SolaPix Fan 8 is an innovative lighting fixture designed that enhances visual experiences in mid- to large-sized venues. Building upon the established SolaPix family, the Fan 8 introduces a unique eight-cell, fanned layout that offers both aesthetic appeal and functional advantages. ou can find them on Stand N-C06.

Leo Humphrey | I’m looking forward to attending PLASA Leeds and reconnecting with many of the industry’s leading manufacturers. Over the past few years, we’ve continued to strengthen these relationships, and I’m pleased to share that our network of partnerships continues to grow—most recently with Advatek. Our ongoing commitment is to be the Partner of Choice for both our dealers and customers alike.

Dom Yates | Ayrton – I’m eager to see the Ayrton Mamba in action—an impressive fixture built for live entertainment. This IP65-rated, laser-sourced unit is engineered for high-impact environments, combining a razor-sharp 0.7° beam with advanced effects. It’s exceptionally well-suited to large-scale, high-energy productions where precision, output, and creative flexibility are essential. You can find them on Stand N-A07.
