John McEvoy

Head of Business Delivery Resources

John started in the live event industry nearly 25-years ago, working with Theatre Projects & Vari-Lite. After putting in time in the warehouse and on site, he became an Account Manager, eventually specialising in Corporate, TV & Large Scale Events, but looking after Theatre & Concert Touring when required. He then moved to production, heading-up the Design & Production Departments at Essential Lighting and PRG, before moving to WL in late 2017. He now runs the Business Delivery Resources team, with responsibility for crew, both freelance and in-house, procurement, and asset management resources. John also works with the next generation coming through the industry, and is involved with apprenticeships, visits to schools & colleges, placements and work experience.
