Work Experience / Work Placements

WORK EXPERIENCE 16-18 years, traditional one or two weeks

or

WORK PLACEMENT 18 plus- post A level or Uni/College candidates

Summary of Information

WL is able to offer a limited number of both the traditional one or two weeks of school work experience or a more in depth work placement for up to 4 weeks aimed at University/ College applicants.

All WL work experience and placements are unpaid.

We may be unable to offer work experience or placements in November and December if operational demands dictate.

We are unable to offer work experience to anyone under 16 years old.

WL operates from a large warehouse in SW19.

• 16 – 18 Work experience is always based in the warehouse
• 18+ Work Placements are usually based in the warehouse. On-site working is only arranged in exceptional circumstances
• Internships will only be considered in very particular circumstances and based on an individual application and on a case by case basis

Please be aware we have limited places available and often have more requests than we can place. We give priority to applicants who can show a particular passion/interest in or have studied/are studying for a career based on our technical provision.

We have no opportunity for those wishing to seek experience in a musical or theatrical performance environment.

We may interview you on the telephone. Once dates have been agreed and accepted you will be sent the required forms to complete and return. For health and safety reasons you will be required to supply your own safety boots/shoes. Both types of attachments are covered under our insurance.
