Last night, The Olivier Awards took place at the Royal Albert Hall, in London. Hosted by Emmy Award-winner Hannah Waddingham, the Oliviers first began in 1976 and are now one of the most important dates in the theatrical calendar – recognising the very best of London Theatre. White Light (WL), a d&b solutions company, was once again delighted to sponsor the Best Lighting Design Award, which was won by Jack Knowles for Sunset Boulevard – for which we supplied the lighting rig. We also supplied the lighting rig for the actually ceremony itself. Sunset Boulevard turned out to be the biggest winner of the night, picking up a record-equalling seven awards in total.
