Job Title: Class C Driver and Warehouse Assistant
Hours: 40 hours per week. Shift-based with flexibility required to meet seasonal demands, including occasional weekend and evening work. Overtime available.

The Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Driver & Warehouse assistant to join our team. They will deliver to and collect from our clients, suppliers and venues across the country. As part of our Operations and Logistics team, they will form a key part of our client facing business, supporting the delivery and collection of equipment in either a Van or a Truck, as per the needs of the business. When not driving, they will be expected to help with the routine inspection and maintenance of our fleet of vehicles as well as supporting the wider warehouse team with general operational tasks, such as tidying and maintenance, de-prepping equipment, and loading and unloading vehicles.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Class C vehicles, adhering to UK road laws and company standards.
- Use and manage a valid Digital Tachograph (Tacho) Card, ensuring full compliance with drivers’ hours regulations.
- Ensuring safe, timely and efficient delivery and collection of equipment from clients and venues with good & clear communication.
- Routine Maintenance and inspection of fleet vehicles.
- Driving in a safe manner and obeying road rules at all times & professionally representing d&b Solutions.
- Reporting of issues and incidents relating to the fleet.
- Loading and unloading of equipment from our vehicles.
- Securing loads ready for transport.
- Follow d&b Solutions processes to ensure deliveries are logged and tracked accurately using our internal systems.
Defining success in this role:
- Operates the vehicle safely at all times, with zero preventable accidents, complying with road traffic laws and company policies.
- Completing deliveries and collections on time and within agreed schedules, supporting operational efficiency by effective time management and route discipline
- Communicates clearly and courteously with customers, colleagues and managers
- Completes delivery paperwork and driver reports accurately and on time
- Treats company vehicles responsibly, preventing damage, and keeping our vehicles clean, presentable and fit for purpose.

Requirements for the Job:
Technical Skills:
- Valid Full Class C Manual UK Driving Licence
- Valid Digital Tachograph (Tacho) Card
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) Checks may be required for certain venues and clients
- IT skills including Microsoft Office and use of internal digital systems
Professional Skills:
- Ability to interact effectively at all levels
- Relating to others and working as a member of a team.
- Deadline conscious-highly organised with the ability to prioritise and multi-task managing a challenging workload and meet strict deadlines
- Willing and flexible approach, with the ability to work on own initiative
- Excellent time management and planning skills, forward thinking and able to add value.
- Knowledge of London and national roads would be beneficial
- Experience of driving professionally in London, and delivering to or collecting from London venues is advantageous
